Originally driven by the needs of the province’s own offshore exploration, development, and production, the supply and service industry has grown substantially in Newfoundland and Labrador over the last three decades. With four fields producing an average 240,000 barrels per day, and a fifth field – the $14 billion Hebron project – that produced first oil in November 2017, our supply and service sector is substantial. Our companies now do business all over the world, with both operators and global supply chains.
